Christmas is almost upon us!
I think that a Christmas morning brunch is a lovely thing. It's become a bit of a tradition in my family's house to open presents and then have a large breakfast. If we're feeling particularly chipper, we have the full menu of eggs, sausage, stollen, cake, fruit, eggnog, coffee, etc. It's glorious.

I also love a special breakfast for Christmas morning. We started a tradition of cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and we always look forward to it. I try to make them the night before and bake them Christmas morning to have them done faster. :)

DeleteThe centerpiece of our Christmas breakfast is always sour cream coffee cake, only we don't call it that. It's called Who Died? coffee cake because my grandmother used to make it when a neighbor or friend died. My mother and her siblings would come into the kitchen, see the cake, and ask, "Who died?" Now, though, we don't wait for death to make it!
